Every day thousands of students get up and are frightened to go to school. Bullying affects millions of kids and everyone is anxious. Parents, teachers and adults hardly ever see it and don’t get how tough bullying can get.
To try to stop bullying in your school join an anti-violence program, and if you can’t find one to join, make your own. In school try to have a conversation with the bully. If this is not appropriate for you, leave a note in the bullies locker. Try telling him that what he is doing is bad and is scaring people. This can work good in cliques.

If your kid talks about being bullied, offer some sense of security and complacency . Children don’t usually tell parents about bullying. They feel upset and bashful that it’s happening to them. If the bullying gets unacceptable because the bully found out that your kid told you, start taking it really solemn. Teachers or counselors are the best ones to talk to first. Sometimes it is beneficial to approach the bullies parents.
